24 Hour Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center
Our sixty-three bed skilled nursing facility provides a home like atmosphere with state of the art technology. Spacious and gracious lobbies, home-like lounges, private dining facilities, a quiet and serene chapel, a beauty/barber shop, closed circuit television, staff pagers, and therapeutic whirlpool baths are just a few of the amenities that we offer. Residents benefit from our non-institutional and tastefully decorated rooms each with a large window and a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. Going to a nursing care facility does not mean the end of the road so to speak. Many older (and younger) adults benefit from a brief skilled care stay in a nursing facility and then return home to resume healthy, productive lifestyles. Because insurance demands shorter hospital stays, nursing care facilities are now a transition between the hospital and independent living at home. We offer long-term and short-term stays, respite and hospice care. Our qualified and dedicated nursing staff makes River Hills Village a leader in providing exceptional health care. We offer twenty four hour care with fully staffed teams of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and state certified nursing assistants. A plan of care for each resident is determined upon entrance and reviewed at least every three months with our residents and/or their family members. Our top priority is the comfort and well being of each of our residents. We are proud to offer restaurant style dining with nutritious meals and selective menus. Our entire team takes ownership to ensure that mealtime is a source of pleasure and companionship. Private dining rooms are available for our residents and their family or friends. Physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy are available five days a week to those residents requiring skilled services. Our licensed professional therapists offer daily education to our certified nurse assistants to provide an active restorative program. Our comprehensive rehabilitation program plays an important role in enhancing independence and fostering self-reliance. A private therapy room is available for residents to use on their own. Security is of the utmost importance. We have implemented a state of the art security system. Video cameras are placed throughout the facility so that every hallway and doorway is visible to key staff. We encourage guests to leave the facility with family and friends, we just ask that you let us know. Admissions to River Hills Village are coordinated by our Director of Nursing, Life Services Director and Marketing Director. All referrals and inquires are given prompt attention and reviewed by our team. Once the necessary medical and financial information is received, a quick response on appropriateness for placement can be given. Our nursing facility is dually certified in Medicare and Medicaid. River Hills Village accepts residents paying privately, with third party payor (insurance), and Medicare. We can assist in determining eligibility for insurance and medical payment programs and help in completing all required forms. River Hills Village is an all inclusive facility. Regardless of the level of care needed, or the personal supplies used, the daily rate remains the same.
